Police Break Down Wrong Door, Shoot Innocent Guy
When 26-year-old Andrew Lee Scott heard someone banging loudly against his door at 1:30 am, he was scarred and opened the door with a gun in his hand. He was greeted by two police officers (who had failed to identify themselves when they knocked) who immediately opened fire when they saw the gun. Scott was died on the spot. The two deputies were actually looking for someone else and had knocked on the wrong door.
Teens Get Released From Jail – Steal Bike Outside
Just minutes after two teens were released from jail, they were seen stealing a bike on a security camera. Since they were wearing the same clothes and where only a few blocks from the jail, there were soon indentified, picked up and brought back.
Man Catches Girl Falling Three Stories
A 7-year old girl from Brookly crawled out of her window to dance on top of her air conditioner, when she tripped and fell three stories. Luckily she was spotted by bus driver Steve St Bernard who positioned himself under the window just in time and managed to catch her before she hit the ground.
Couple Meets For The First Time
This cute couple first “met” in a Halo 3 lobby and became best friends and ultimately a couple, without ever meeting each other – until now. Apparently they are engaged now, and will meet again in August.
Mitt Romney Stupid For Not Releasing Tax Returns?
Erin Burnett, host of CNN’s Outfront, told Mitt Romney to release his tax returns, because not doing so would be stupid. Romney has been under fire recently for not making his tax returns public, according to Burnett that is because he used a lot of loopholes, did something shady, or is stupid.

Playboy model/actress Kelly Brook, a supporter of Sky Ride (a series of events in England meant to inspire cycling), rode her bike trough Manchester this week – luckily she was accompanied by a camera!

Large Bank Launders Money For Drug Dealers
Apparently there is no need to buy a car wash to launder your drug money, because HSBC, Europe’s largest bank, will do it for you. The company has been accused of enabling Mexican drug cartels to launder billions over several years. They also lend money to banks that allegedly helped fund al-Qaeda.
TSA To Help Out At Olympics
Because the private company hired to protect the Olympics is understaffed, the American TSA will come to the rescue and provide their service for American carriers but also to help out with British airlines.

Valve’s platform Steam is coming to Linux with Left 4 Dead being the first title. After launching on Mac and even running on the PS3 with Portal 2, Ubuntu is the next step. Steam is currently offering most of their games at a reduced priced due to the summer sale, so go get some video games for cheap!
FDA Approves HIV Vaccine
The FDA (Food and Drug Administration) has approved the first drug that reduces the chance of HIV infection. It is supposed to be used along with safe-sex practices and is not a substitute for using a condom.

Doctor Hires Hitman
Dr. Thomas Michael Dixon, a plastic surgeon from Amarillo, allegedly hired a hitman and paid him with silver bars to kill another doctor, who was dating his ex-girlfriend. The assassin carried out the hit, using a gun given to him by Dixon. The hitman then later tried to commit suicide, at which point his roommate reported him to the police.

15-Year Old Develops Cancer Sensor
Jack Andraka is 15 years old and he is also the inventor of a new cancer sensor that is by far more accurate, faster and cheaper than any current method. His idea won him $75,000 at a science fair, which he will use for college.
