I love all of you who came out today at the London DeFranco Meet n Greet.  1400 (about an hour after we started with a few hundred as seen above) and growing at the moment that the security team pulled me away and cancelled the event.  :/

You guys were amazing.  I loved that I got to meet some of you.  I’m gutted that I couldn’t meet all of you though.  I paid a lot out of pocket for a 3 man security team thinking it would be enough but they told me after they saw the crowd we needed about 10 more people to make sure no one got hurt.  All it takes is one person getting trampled or hurt in some way, it looked more and more likely that it was going to happen, and we cant risk that.

Main points:  We’re reanalyzing how we can do this without it costing me 4-7k pounds out of pocket for the proper amount of security alone. 

We might rent out a hall/theater in future countries and sell cheap tickets for a 90 minute audience Q/A followed by pics and signing.

For those of you in London I’m going to try to make it free or as cheap as possible and try to have a “DeFranco Does London 2.0” before my month long Eurotrip is over.

But overall please know I love your faces and everything that happened today was for you.  I’d rather disappoint all of you than have even just one of you get hurt.
