If you were ever like, I wish there was more Philip DeFranco show.  Well that’s this channel and more that I’m currently building.

And NO the Philip DeFranco Show is not being replaced.  :)

Hey its Monday so I guess its time for today’s “The Nation is Sexy Filled With Young and Hopefully Legal Women Who Lost Their Clothes”.  We should start a charity for these poor souls.

Don’t feel lame about fangirling.  I did the same thing when I met Nerimon, and the countless other people I came up watching.  This internet thing is a weird one way conversation and sometimes the 80 billion things you always wanted to say come out in a girlish shriek when you meet the person.

Today I gave myself a big present.  Since most of you don’t know me on a daily/personal level let me tell you this is a rare thing.  Most all my money goes into reinvesting in new people/equipment for either DeFranco Inc and ForHumanPeoples.  But sometimes you have to do something a little bit careless and stupid.  I bought an 80 inch LCD TV as a self X-Mas/Bday present.

THERE IS NO REASON TO OWN AN 80 INCH TV!!!  But on Tuesday I will have one.  I’m happy about this, and before you say, “BUT PHIL WHAT ABOUT THE STARVING CHILDREN IN AFRICA?!?!”; I’ll have you know I invited them to watch next Sundays Jets game and they never even responded back.  Dick move in my opinion.

But in all seriousness I donate, I just don’t wave it around for everyone to see because I’m not trying to make up for being a shitty person in all other aspects of my life.  So yeah.  I’m pretty pumped about it.  What do you want for X-Mas?

My mind is in a weird place in part to the US war in Iraq “ending” today.  So many lives were lost and it would be easy for me to say it was for nothing, but I was not there on the ground.  I did not lose anyone, and I think the main reasons we are desensitized to the horrors that ravage this planet daily is we only see it on screens.  I think that’s why it is so hard for soldiers who come back home to relate to civilians.  They saw the real world.  Not this Disney land reality we live in where we argue about Kim Kardashian being an attention whore and complaining because we can’t stop eating doughnuts because they are so delicious.  The real world.  A place that is not simple, forgiving, or beautiful.
