There's no background story here so you can't judge this video much.
Just people fighting people that didn't want to fight (judging by the screaming), and the fact that all the people were just standing around not helping.

If we had a background story to this, would we think any different? Probably. It's possible that the girl was doing something to tick off this group of what seems to be fairly young adults, teenagers even. This is very upsetting. That girl literally dragged her across the room and out on the pavement. What Phil says is right; the actions of few change the reputation of many. What upsets me the most, is that nobody in the place came to her defense, nobody tried to protect her. I really wonder what she did to get that..
It does not matter what she said or did, what happened to her was ridiculous, and the people around should be ashamed.

Yes there was one white female. That makes it a mixed race crowd watching. Plus that ONE white girl was not being assaulted along with the other white girl. That alone makes me believe it might not be race related. If it was solely a race related beating then the other white girl would have been getting assaulted also. Also I was commenting on earlier comments made about the video. There where plenty of comments aimed at race and nothing else. I was just trying to say people should know the facts before throwing our the race card as being the reason for this disturbing video.
You just said it yourself. The other white bystanders where just that bystanders. If this was a race related beating then why are they not being assaulted as well? I agree that this is disturbing. I would like to think that if I was there I would have tried to step in to stop the assault. Hopefully this video will be used to find the people who did the assault so charges can be made. Plus I never said it wasn't race related. I only said until you know the entire story people shouldn't just assume it is race related.
You know the sad thing is if you where to inform the police in Sacramento and give them the link to this video so they could pursue a investigation would they actually take the time and effort to do anything about it? I would hope so. So my question is will you contact the police in your city and give them this link and see if they do anything about it?
